I stayed at Ashford Court for three nights. The welcoming reception staff made a nice first impression, helping with check-in quickly. The breakfast spread included a decent full Irish option, but the scrambled eggs were oddly overcooked in the microwave. My room was very basic and felt cramped, and it could use some updating. The bathroom had seen better days. the shower pressure was weak, and the overall cleanliness wasn’t up to par. Although the corridors had a smoky smell and were a bit dark, the friendly demeanor of the staff brightened my experience. The lift made unsettling noises, which was rather disconcerting. While parking was adequate, the option for on-street parking could be an issue during busy times.

A bold move that proved rewarding!
The reception staff welcomed us with open arms, making check-in quick and pleasant. The breakfast showcased a decent full Irish option, though the scrambled eggs could use a little finesse. While the facilities need attention, it was the friendly staff that truly brightened the experience.

Had a great time with friends at this cozy spot. Perfect base for our ferry trips to the Aran Islands and exploring local cultural sites. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. Ideal for a hen or stag party with good vibes all around.
One downside was the check-in process, which felt a bit chaotic. We encountered some issues finding the entrance as it was unclear initially.

walking distance to town centre, lovely garden area, limited parking space
The room sizes are excessively cramped!!! the lack of proper soundproofing from street disturbances is a real issue. The absence of marking in the car park makes it chaotic when trying to park!!! Improve the room updates and shower pressure!!!

The hotel offers spacious family rooms with comfortable beds and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our family felt right at home. We enjoyed the serene garden area, which provided a perfect spot for the kids to play while we relaxed nearby.
Parking can be a bit challenging, as on-street options are somewhat limited.

The room was clean and spacious, making it a decent place to crash. Plus, I found the location super convenient for wandering around. Just don’t expect the decor to win any fashion awards, love!
The smell of smoke was a bit much. I felt like I’d joined a chain-smokers’ club! the lift was noisier than my aunt at afternoon tea!
